does anyone know what could be causing it? I've been getting it on and off for about 5 years!

Today's my day for health issues. lol

My granddaughter gets it there like you have described it could be eczema or a little bit of cerise's your doctor will give you a cream to clear it up in the mean time try e45 its good

I sometimes get this in the summer when i spend a long time on my PC. The creases of the arm get hot and wet with sweat which irritates.

I find that PH balanced powder stops the rash as it absorbs the moisture.

The opposite could also be true that your skin is dry in which case it needs to be dehydrated with a good moisturiser.

You may be unconsciously rubbing your arm against your clothing. Do you use that arm for repetitive motion in a job or hobby? No need to worry if it doesn't hurt or itch...get a real intensive moisturizing lotion for it.

Your skin might be dry. Put on some lotion and see how that works out.

it may well be a reaction to something you have eaten my dad gets this when he has vinegar, took him years to work out what was causing it.
