I'm thinking of the color scheme of a chocolate milkshake.
chocolate brown, whipped cream white, and cherry red.
Wood floors, a white shag rug, a wood sleigh bed, white walls decorated with pictures and such, and then on the bed a bunch of red and brown pillows, with a big white comforter and a red throw. I wanted something clean and modern, yet still warm and cozy. Is it a cute idea?

it sounds very cute. i have the chocolate color on the walls with an off white trim, burgandy/red curtains, pillow cases, and accents, with a chocolate brown duvet cover and it looks awesome. i get so many compliments on it. whatever YOUR vision is, and whatever YOU think is cool is what you should do. good luck and have fun!

Sounds very nice. If you mean chocolate brown as in the color of a milkshake or ice cream, I think the red would go well.

If you are talking about chocolate brown like the rich hue of a Hershey bar, I'm not sure how the red would look. You'd have to try it. One color I've seen used a lot with darker browns is that beautiful blue - almost like an aqua. It is such a nice complement and contrast to the brown.

You are right in choosing accent colors that will go with your dominant tone, and you'll have to experiment a bit to come up with the most complimentary shades. There are as many shades of reds as there are whites and creams.

Good luck. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the outcome.

very. i suggest adding a bit of faded lime green too. not too bright, but little touches here and there. also, for the darckest brown you use, this will resemble the black used for more modern styles. only use bold and perfectly straight lines for it. have almost ne curves. use circles and furniture with round edgess for the red and green. striaght lines for everything else.

make sure the red pillows are round--so they look like cherries!
