Sig P226 .40 cal.....very accurate right out of the box. Great handgun !!!! I would luv to buy & carry the Sig P226 X-Five, but I don't know if there is a duty holster made for it.

Glocks may be ugly, but I consider them the most reliable. My duty issue is a sig P226 as well. They are also very fine weapons.

My father was a part of the testing when the Army got rid of the .45's and went with the Berreta's they use today. Of course the Army went with the lowest bidder, and the Berrata 9mm.

My father said they froze the Glock in a block of ice, cracked it out of the ice, went to the top of a repell tower, threw it off into some mud, had a five ton drive over it. The tester then picked it up, shook the mud off of it, and fired the entire clip without a malfunction.

That is pretty good when you consider the M16 used today will jam if you get one grain of sand in the bolt.

Personally, I prefer revolvers, but understand why we do not carry them anymore. My personal weapon of choice is the .357 mag.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you were getting shot at and shielding yourself from behind a dumpster, the 15 to 17 shot capacity of the Glock can turn into Miss Universe. There aren't many guns around who can be abused as much as a Glock, and still function in the 99.9 percentile. I love the Glock .

S&W .40 by Sig Sauer P226

It's not my duty weapon, I'm not a cop, but it's very popular for feel, stopping power, and lack of over-penetration.

32 caliber fn herstal, it an old one one but its got a great feel and a 32 is good enough to help me sleep at night. That gun on my pictor is not my 32 its a raven 25 its just for fun and ammo is cheap for it as well as the gun was cheap.
