MLK DAY and the IRS?

Will the IRS be acccepting returns on mon Jan. 15th even though it is a holiday?

What do you mean by "accepting"? By mail? No mail is delivered that day. By eFile? Then yes, computers do not get off that holiday

Probably not, but most people don't file that early, especially as businesses are not required to send employees W-2 statements until the end of January.
