Yes, it's an independent village almost directly next to Zurich airport. It belongs to the Canton (i.e. province or state) of Zurich which is in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

The leader of the municipality administration surely would give you any information you'd like, probably also in English.

Yes, it is between Bulach and Kloten...really close to the Zurich airport.
