I have posted MANY questions about dogs and pit bulls. And at this moment in my life i can not afford a dog, but i still look just for fun, even though i am basically torturing myself. Do you think this dog is Absolutely Beautiful!? He sounds perfect. I want him sooo bad, but i can't have him. I had to hold myself back from going and visiting him because i know i would have brought him home.

I work at a vet clinic, that is where i get my dog fix. But as soon as i come home i get the feeling of really wanting my own. I know they are expensive, and because i work at a vet clinic, i know just HOW expensive. That is why i am not down there right now bringing him home....
i am glad you guys think he is beautiful!

i am considering the dog before my heart, that is why he is not in my house. And pit bulls are not vicious. i repeat...behind the dog is the owner. Whether it is a vicious dog, or a well balanced dog it all has to do with the owner. but i know i'm not ready, that is why i don't have him.

Alli, check the requirements for a foster family this animal shelter needs. Some provide all the vet care & even food while the foster home provides the love, training, & socialization for the animal. I suppose you would need to be aware of the risk of his being adopted but, it may be an alternative for you to have a loving pet. You sound like a very caring individual & one who SHOULD have a pet. If fostering isn't right for you consider volunteering at this shelter. Good Luck, Alli.

He is indeed beautiful! I was looking thru that exact same site myself, but, I got a rescue pup from back east in Canada. He is 8 months old and is a pitbull x. He was a pound pup with no manners or training. We've had him for over 2 months now and he is the most lovable dog. If I knew how to put a picture up in this site, I would. You would think he was beautiful too. I love pitbulls!

yes hun that dog is beautiful. large dogs need lots of room to run and play. could you afford the food this dog needs.? and the vet bills are large bills if he gets really sick or hurt. some people buy dogs then after they have them for a few months they find out they can not care for them like they thought they could. so its back to the shelter for the dog. or even worse dump the dog at the side of the road. if you think you can afford a dog then fine by all means get one. but first consider the dog befor your heart.

He's gorgeous. You are doing the right thing though-if you can't afford a vet, you can't afford a pet!
Is there a nearby shelter or rescue that you could volunteer at to get your "dog fix"?

1st. if you have never had a dog before, do not i repeat DO NOT< get a PIT BULL, THEY ARE NOT A dog for beginners, even a Vetassistant! period!!! they can be very, very agressive, specially if they know their master" cannot get on top as a pack leader, it will dominate you you can & will have BIG trouble if you are not careful, otherwise beautiful dog, but visious when called or not called for

.yes, but he kinda looks like a pit bull and they will need a lot of attention. maybe one day you will be able to afford one (i hope so) but remember any pet you have, you need a good vet and the animal needs a lot of attention

He is, but most dogs that wind up on "petfinder" is because they become to expensive to feed and care for, so unless you are willing to starve in order to feed your dog, just print the picture out and paste it on your mirror.
