And if you have, what brand did you use and did it work very well? I know it hurts, but how much? I've also heard they can cause a rash. What parts of your body did you use it on? Face, bikini, legs, armpits?

I use my Braun Silk-Epil everywhere on my body, but never on my face. Follow the instructions and you should have very few, if any problems. After the first few uses the only sensation is a gentle tugging as the hairs are plucked out. A soothing lotion will calm your skin after you are done epilating. By epilating in the evening, your skin will have all night to recover, and look great in the morning. The results are far superior to shaving, creams, and waxing.

There was another question about epilators a day or two ago. Probably more answers over there.

I have a Braun's SilkEpil and I'm very happy with it.
It only hurts the first few times but once your skin is used to it, it doesn't hurt anymore. I'd say it hurts a bit more than wax because the process is longer and you really feel the epilator remove each hair. But like I said, it's a matter of getting used to it.
I use it on legs, bikini and armpits. Do not ever use it on your face! Dermatological problems garanteed if you do so!
I've never had a rash. You get some red bumps from the hair being removed, but if you moisturise afterwards, they'll fade quickly.
As efficient as wax.

i don't be responsive to what to assert... in case you utilize razon, that's going to enhance very speedy and extremely dense. in case you utilize epilator, that's going to enhance below your epidermis. that's what happens to me.. So.. i don't be responsive to. by how, utilising the epilator will take you better than one hour and it hurts, rather. in case you have not use a razor, it could be greater advantageous, simply by fact the hair could have improve in 3-4 weeks. yet considering you have already use it, in one week that's going to be there returned.

I've not used it on myself but many of my Clients did and had lots of problems like, ingrown Hairs that will get infected, rashes, etc...and they all said it hurts way too much.
I suggest WAXNG!

I use it on my legs and arms.
To avoid ingrown hairs, its important that you exfoliate when you take a shower.

Yes it hurts and it turns red right after (and after a few hours) but it returns to normal the day after.
