then other guys in so many ways... like certain days of the year its just anouther day to them... and if they want to buy something they get it... but it seems to me that they want to get married so much more then other guys... why is it important to them?

umm being in the military does NOT make a person stupid.. it makes them have brains and guts and will power in there to... my boyfriend is an eod.... he has calculas 3 with him and alot more added to that... he doesnt just shoot a gun he takes care of alot at home when he isent at war in iraq... like meth labs... possible blombs under planes... you have no idea what ypur talking r1blc your stupid

well being in the military and away from family many want to get married so they can live on their own and not on a ship or in the barracks. 2 for stability and support thats close to home. 3 its just nice to have family to buy things and do things for

What good is coming home from war, if you have no-one to come home to. The military is very very family minded. With family groups, wife groups, childrens centers.
Who wouldn't want to raise a family with full community support.
Military guys know and understand family values, because of the military vaslues ingrained in them.
The average guy plays around about marriage, because they don't understand how quickly a life can be lost.
A military guy knows.

I think guys in the military have their head on straight more then other guys as a whole. They know what they want and when it's right, they get married instead of waiting for who knows what.

Actually military guys are not that different.And as far as them saying holidays are justanother day to them thats true in away,thats only if they are deployed.And they dont really want marriage more than any other guy,they don't wanna leave a spouse behind when they get deployed,and if they are married its just as hard for them as civilians and you have to remember they were at one time civilians and will be again.And as far as tem wanting it more and all,they get additional pay if they are married and the spouse dont live with them.And I speak from expierence, knowing,they dont run right out and buy what ever they want when ever they want,I dont know wher you heard that from its simpily not true

under the UCMJ, cohabitation with a person of the opposite sex without being married is a punishable offense. getting married is also a way to get out of the barracks and move into an actual house.

For the most part members of the military tend to be more conservative than liberal. As such they see home and family as one of their lifes goals. It's just a part of their charactor.

Well I guess my 2 bachelors degrees still qualify me as stupid. Thanks guy. I am in the Army so i guess that nullifys my degrees. Do you even know what nullify means? Maybe you should learn to keep your mouth shut, or someone would shut it for you. I would gladly volunteer to do that.

Generally speaking a man who choses to be in the military is not very intelligent (intelligence=ability to learn) and likes a structured format of life, marriage brings another person's brain to do the thinking and the discipline his life would otherwise lack.
