i had contacts once.....getting them again...........my brand was Acuvue........i accidently fell asleep in them once and had them on from 10pm to 10am......it was kinda hard getting them off in the morning but nothing happened.......i try not to do that but every once in awhile i do......i have not showered with them but i suggest not to because if the contact falls out and goes down the drain ur gonna have to wait awhile to get another pair...........hope i answered ur question!

I do both all of the time, just make sure thye don't wash out when you shower.

ok...eye doctors of the world, kill me now...i sleep and shower in mine. I take them out and clean them over night on occasion but mine are the soft lenses, disposable from acuvue. it has not hurt me yet.
