I'll give you two(+):
Tuna Noodle Casserole:
1 package extra wide egg noodles
2 cans of tuna
1 can cream of mushroom soup
couple scoops of mayo
some mustard
diced onion
diced green pepper
sharp cheddar, 8 oz. or so
pimiento pepper (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
cook noodles while you mix everything else together. strain noodles and add to mixture. stir together and spread into a 9x13 baking dish. bake @ 375-400 until top is lightly browned, about 20-25 minutes. you get days worth of this stuff, so if you're a light eater, cut the recipe in half. nothing is exact, and it doesn't have to be. you can't screw this up.
Next....
ALMOST ALL MEXICAN FOOD!
Chalupas:
Corn tortillas, fried in oil until crispy
refried beans
lettuce
diced tomato
cheese
as long as the tortilla's on the bottom, it's a chalupa. add chicken or beef if you want.
Others to think about:
Roasting a whole chicken is incredibly easy and cheap. Clean, dry, oil/butter, season, high heat until juices run clear, dinner + lunch for days. you can even make gravy out of the drippings with a little flour or corn starch.
Homemade lasagna. Noodles, sauce, and cheese.
If you have a wok, make stir fry.
Etc.
These kinds of foods make you smarter.

Hopefully you're in an apartment and not a dorm. Ready? This is an EXCLUSVIE recipe to our town. It isn't easy on calories, but it is easy and cheap. It's called a horseshoe (ponyshoe if you 1/2 it):
2 pieces of toast on a plate
On top of that your choice of meat (anything from hamburger, chicken patty, deli turkey, ham, etc. or just veggies if you prefer - mushrooms, bell peppers, onion)
On top of that put french fries
Smother is all with cheese sauce. (here's where you can be creative - fastest is Campbell's cheese soup with a little milk added and shredded or individual cheese squares - not too much milk, you don't want it runny)
If that's too much just make TACOS!!!
ENJOY!!!! Definitelly will stick to your ribs.

Ramen Noodles is the old standby, usually 25 cents a pop, but fattening and lots of sodium.
Peanut butter sandwiches are also good.
Usually religious student centers have weekly meals for students for like $2.00
Any Campbell's soup is usually good and under a buck.
Spaghettios are also good, and cheap.

Don't know what kind of foods you like, but I have a few good and cheap recipes.
1. Chili Macaroni:
Brown some chop meat, beef or turkey (1-lb)
Put in 1 package of chili mix
1 can tomato sauce (14 1/2oz.)
1 can red kidney beans (15oz.)
Bring to boil, cover, simmer 10min.
Cook some kind of small pasta (elbows, shells, etc.) Drain
Mix all ingredients together.
2. Tuna and pasta:
Tuna, onion, olive oil in pan. Saute
Add 1 jar tomato sauce (any kind you like)
Make some spaghetti, linguine, or fettuchini pasta.
Top pasta with tuna sauce, and some grated cheese.
Actually, you can add pretty much anything you like with pasta. Very simple.
veggies, beans, chicken, meats, fish
Also very easy, try warming up some ham slices and scrambling up some eggs. Pour the eggs on top of ham and cook together. Put it in a roll. (can use bacon )

Fry 1/2 pound of hamburger meat, and make some beef ramen noodles and drain, mix seasoning with noodles and then mix meat with it. My kids love it. It'll cost about $2 to make and is filling. Also, check out the selection of frozen box chinese meals they are generally about $2 as well...... good luck in college!!!

Stock up on canned soup (the kind you heat and eat, no water needed) and the cup o'noodles too. Also canned stew, spagettios (sp?), chili, etc tends to be fairly cheap and requires nothing more than heating.
There are also a lot of frozen entrees and pot pies that are cheap, and most are microwaveable. Peruse the frozen food isle at the supermarket.

Do you like sauerkraut? If you do then try this! Place 2 cans of sauerkraut on the bottom of a cake pan. Then top with 1 lb. of ground beef (already cooked), then top it off with mashed potatoes. Place little pats of butter on top and bake on 350 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are golden brown. It's great!!

Well, if you were attending the Mississippi College, you could come and eat dinner with us, but if you don't you can always get hamburger helper. They even have the already made kind. You just have to experiment with what you like and go from there.
