its not because that humans are mammals...that's why they don't lay eggs....
suppose if humans were not mammals then.........
they should be laying eggs.........
so why shouldn't humans evolved as egg laying rather than giving births?
this is biggest prove that.... evolution is guided one....
the animals that lay eggs..never had a intelligent brain like mammals......
some examples are dogs, cats, horses....dolphins...etc..
and in egg-laying animals you never find a single example of intelligent brain like dogs, cats, horses and dolphins......

so humans give births to babies..because they are intelligent...if we dumbs like egg-laying then we would have lay eggs..

A woman does "lay an egg"
Just not in the way a bird does..
We are an entirely different species than a bird, or a fish..
And when you think about the size of an egg a bird lays compared to it's body, it would be just the same as giving birth.. Size wise..
But to my first point. A woman produces an egg inside of her, the male fertilizes it (sex).
It "incubates" inside of her for 9 months before the baby is born.
For what you're saying to be achieved, the woman would have to have sex with a male, lay an egg (big enough to house a fully formed baby, and a supply of food to nourish this baby untill it is fully formed ie. placenta) So roughly the size of a 9 month pregnant belly. Then keep it warm for 9 months.. make sure nothing happened to it..
Isn't it easier and less painful the way it happens now?

God had nothing to do with that. the reason why we have babies, instead of lay eggs, is because babies have a higher chance of surving than eggs do. try chasing an egg and a baby, what would you rather eat? something moving or somethin just hangin out?

yea it's easier for women to lay eggs, but it's also easier for predators to eat those same eggs. that's why mammals rule the earth.

i personally feel al little dumber right now, that wasn't such a good question.

Hehe, good question. I've often wondered that myself. Usually when I was pregnant and at around 7 months. An egg is so much easier to deal with. Push it out and relax. Not immeidately breastfeed and lose three days of sleep over excitment and worry. I had two c sections, so I can empathize. Or wouldn't it be better if the egg came out about our size (down there) and grew as the baby grew inside of it? It would be so much easier.

If God created woman laying eggs then she would not feel same emotions to her babies as she do now, if she laid eggs then she would feel like a chicken feel to its own eggs!!! God created us like this to make us feel the very special relation between the son and the mother, without this relation we will lose the basic part of society; THE FAMILY…

There should be a minimum age requirement on this forum. God did not design humans to lay eggs. Ya know! And what makes you think that it's easy for a hen to lay an egg? They squawk and cackle in pain until the egg has been laid. It hurts them too.

They do produce eggs, and men produce sperm.

Jesus speaks of this, its because the woman faces great suffering during the birth, it makes her that much more joyful when the baby is born, she forgets the suffering.

Point being, it takes coming though great pain to know great joy.

Its a life lesson. Its at the end of John.

Because god didn't make woman. Nature did. And women came from prior primates that also didn't lay eggs. If we had evolved from raptors instead, the question would have been different; although if it was based on religion, it would still be silly.

Actually, human females do lay eggs, into their wombs for fertilization and gestation.

The day is coming when humans clones are grown in tubes instead of the traditional way, and your worries will be appeased. Robots will raise and nurture the happy little babies.

An egg is the size of the baby.

Do you want to lay an 8 pound egg and wait for it to hatch?
