Keeping in contact with him is all that you can do for now. Give it time 'cos things can change within months...maybe he'll change his mind or you might meet a new love interest in Canada. Don't let your emotions run amok. Who knows, perhaps you'll see each other again in the future. Patience. Good luck.

I suggest that you remain in contact with the guy. If you are definitely sure that you are never going to the UK again, I doubt you and him are ever going to hook up.
But if he feels strongly for you as you do for him, I think you should try every possible means to see the guy again.

move on. long distance relationship barely works. u can find a better person in canada. good luck
