I'm sorry, but I don't see how "this is a big one". You're 15. Living in Japan. So I have to assume that you live with your parents. The soonest you're going to be able to move to New York would be in three years (at the soonest). I'm sure that both places have their good and bad points. Talk to your parents. Do an internet search. Go to the library.
And stop asking the same question! One time is enough. You'll get plenty of answers. And it's against the Yahoo! Guidelines.

I like Japan, but I wouldn't mind being in New York. Wow The Big Apple. It has so much to offer.

if you don't like japan, then other places would probably be better than it for you. i don't know if i'd recommend new york, however.

it just depends on the reasons why you don't like japan. if you don't like japan because it's crowded or it's covered in smog...then don't go to new york, go to wyoming or some place. if you don't like it for reasons that don't apply to new york, then go ahead.

you might want to know that a lot of people in the united states (new york included) are beginning to be interested in japan, and want to go THERE, instead.

There's no place like home. There are many different cultures in New York City, which makes it good because I think anyone can find their niche. It's crowded, noisy, fast paced, expensive. Most people walk or ride the subway to get around. You name it, you can find it there. Finish school, get a skill in computers or finance, find out about getting a visa, save your money and come on over and see for yourself. Bring a lot of money. It's great that you have dreams and aspirations. Like they say, "Keep your eye on the prize."
