Well, whoever said you can't pierce your vagina was right. It is inside of you.
As far as female genital piercings, there are some option. tribalectic.com has a ton of pictures. more than you'll even want to look at. Vertical clitoral hood is most common, which is what i have. It's great, I love it and have no regrets whatsoever. There's no risk of nerve damage of decreased sensation with a hood piercing. A true clitoral piercing, which is very rare, definetly poses a risk of nerve injury and the possibility of no sensation ever again. and no one wants that. There are also a couple varieties of labial piercings and surface piercings.
hell yes it hurts. for one second of firey hot pain. literally, one second. no longer. by the time you've registered the pain, it's over. and it never hurts again. feels a little odd the first day, but you get used to it quickly. No pain at all during healing, which is incredibly quick. Totally healed in 6 weeks.

It really depends where 'down there' you are considering getting pierced. I know of 6 different possibilities.
I have a vertical clitoral hood done. It didn't hurt at all. It is just more awkward getting it done because never before had I had a needle there. Especially so close to my clit! My piercing was for functional reasons and all other piercings down there are purely for beauty.
Healing time is about 3-4 weeks for mine and is quite beautiful along with sensational.
Do more research (other than yahoo answers) before getting anything done. See what the different types are and go to a piercing parlor and talk with someone to get their advice and info. Good luck and should you have any further questions, feel free to message me.
Edit: Under no circumstance should you ever pierce your actual clit! Very few piercers if any would actually do this anyway. Because, if they screw up by even the tiniest measure possible, they will destroy all 1,000 nerves and that is a very bad bad bad idea.

Trivial knows her piercings. I also have my veritical hood done and love it. There is a millisecond of pain and no throbbing afterwards. It has been the least painful piercing ever. Plus, because of your natural juices, it has a really low chance of getting infected. Mine healed up before I knew it and I couldn't be happier.
FYI, there are many piercings you can get, but the vertical hood is the only one really made for stimulus. The ball will lie on your clitoris and that's where the pleasure comes from. Most other piercings are just for aesthetics. You can also get your clitoris pierced, but the chances are unlikely that your body can handle it, much less a piercer will be willing to do one because they are difficult to do.

You can't get your vagina pierced. It's the labia and the other parts.
There are no pros as far as I'm concerned. The biggest con is that is creates another place for bacteria to grow and cause an infection. Don't do it.

there arent vaginal piercings there are labi piercings and clitoria piecings though.. i know the risk of a clitoral piercing is desensitization. which is loosing the feeling alltogther... but all piercings hurt. they have some degree od pain...
there is also always the risk of migration anf rejection as well as infections...

You can't get your vagina pierced. It is inside your body. You can get the outer parts pierced. Labia and hood.
Go to www.tribalectic.com and look at pics and stories. I have a VCH (go look it up) and I love it. It hurt for 1 big second.

Honestly, I had a friend who did this and she swears her sex life has never been better. I do caution, she did state that in the beginning that even the slightest movements were painful, yet oddly pleasurable. Good Luck!
