2) Yes, it's been known to occur that the boot (aka trunk) - won't open via the fob. - This is a KNOWN honda issue
3) neogriff. - Not everyone here is from england, you know. In america, we call the "boot" the TRUNK, we also call what you call a "rubber" by the name of "erasers", "bobby" is a persons name, and we haven't got a freaking clue what a "loo" is.
Do you know what a rubber is to us? How about a pig? Or a john? (that actually has two meanings)
Your slang, and ours are different, try to expand your mind to cultures other than your own..

why is this under volkswagen? and did that guy really just ask what a boot was? ahhhh, god bless the septics. are you using the key fob, or doing it manually? you may have a dodgy wire on your central locking system, or it could be as simple as batteries in the alarm remote.
