No, you don't put an end time. If it's a concern, you could have some sort of "finale" - I had one friend who had fireworks at the end of the night (everyone had to leave at a specific time because of noise regulations), and she made up a program listing the fireworks at the end. That way, she figured people would stay until then and get the message that the event was over. (Plus, family knew that everyone had to leave, so they knew to go home and everyone else clued in.)

it migth depend on the location some places tell you the reception is from one time to another and anything over that you have to pay more if that is the case i would say you put the end time if not then just let the dj do the talking. he can be polite and fun at the same time so that no one gets upset. Good luck and congratulations.

I think you shouldn't put an end time. Its great for people to want to stay till the end and if you make it obvious by serving coffee or something it helps everyone to realise. But also families with young children might need to leave early and you don't want them constrained by the end time. So I would leave that out.

The person that is right is the bride-whichever of you that is
The bride has it her way no matter what
Having said that...Traditionally there is no time listed
Whether you pay for invitations or make them yourself space is limited and the fewwer unnecessary words the better.
Change is music after the departure of the newlyweds usually clears a room

no, you do not put on the invitation the time the wedding ends. Usually weddings end about 12am

We only put the ceremony time and the reception start time on our invitations. There were no dramas at the end. Do what you prefer, its your day, your way honey!!

I think it is not appropriate! People go home soon after the couple leave to the honey moon
or you can force them to go by changing the mood of the music, you know very calm and "goodbye" music, subtle!

you are right. you should let them stay as long as they want, if someone needs to know what time it will be over they can call and ask you themselves
