It could be, I started at 14. Just keep your grades up and your clothes on.

You mean serious, one on one dating? No, not at all. All you are at this age, male or female, is one huge hormone. LOL So basically you are not just messing with your hormones, but somebody else's and that is not good. Emotions are running high then too, you aren't mature enough, and why put yourself or anybody else through this? I don't agree with dating at this age, just have a mess of friends and have some fun! Life gives you plenty of time for dating, all of it. You may not understand what I am saying now if you are a teen asking it, but in years to come, it'll all make sense. So this is the time for you to get to know yourself, what do you like, hobbies, all of it, and find out from friends the type of person, in your future, who you would want to be with. Have fun, you're too young! We gave this advice to our 3 kids who are teens, and they have times when it is rough for them but on the whole, the older they are getting, the more thankful they are that they haven't dealt with all of the emotions and drama and just making friends and having fun!

14 years old is to young to date... When you older , you will have all the time to date... Enjoy your life as a young girl... someday you will look back and your 14 years old girl will ask the same questions..

It's your decision. That age, in my opinion, is a great age to start dating. But don't start dating because everyone else is, start dating because you have found the right guy or you want to find the right guy. I agree with China Doll, keep your grades up and your clothes on. Lol.
Have Fun!!

As long as you don't sacrifice the other parts of your life, like friendships and school, it's fine.
The reason that most people tell early teens to stay away from dating is that a lot of kids have really bad judgement and end up messing up their lives for the sake of a boy or girl.

Yes, that's when I'm allowed to date. My friend Rachel started dating at 12! I know i think 12 is young too. Listen i think you should start dating, but wait for someone to ask you out first.

You know what i would say no, take it from me i am 15 and boys only want one thing. It is okay to have male friends, but that should be all. And i am not just saying this but trust me from experience, wait until you are older and more mature. You will appreciate the relationship more. God bless!
