marine speakers are for boats, because they can handle moisture, salt, and humidity better. they are also usually white. they work just as good in a car as a boat, however your choices are limited, and you will pay more. You want a speaker with a butyl rubber surround and a non paper cone for your car, because they can take heat and uv rays better. I always recommend Boston Acoustics. Heads I always go Kenwood
hey COREY **** off....I clearly stated they are white

I'll answer your first question and then we can talk about the others. Marine speakers are water resistant speakers that are used on boats and motorcycles.

In cars, sure...its just a water proof speaker.

Good speakers...ones that work.

Good head unit...see the above answer.

Actually, www.crutchfield.com has the answers to all of these questions and much more, especially whenit pertains to your particular vehicle.

But I always say, good is what you want at a price you can afford.

Generally speaking, a speaker is a speaker. If it is water proof, that means that in your car a spilled drink won't ruin them. A good speaker is one that you like the sound of, and has a power rating as well as the needed resistance to match you amplifier. It is all subjective to what you like, so long as the rated power is not LESS that the what the amplifier will deliver at full volume, and the speaker resistance is the proper value for the amplifier.
