Come dité il gatto nero en Italiano?
(translation: How do you say black cat in Italian?)

Italian:
gatto= cat
nero= black

Spanish:
Gato = cat
***** = black

I think gatto is the word in both Spanish and Italian. One is "nero" for black, the other is "*****" and I don't know which is which.

When I named my cat Mincho I thought it was a Spanish diminutive for Benjamino. I have since learned that Mincho is a generic name for cats in South America, like "moggie" for the English.
