so next year im going to highschool and i need to select my courses for the year and i am having trouble choosing. i asked my parents, brother and friends but they were no help. im taking spanish 2 in hs and idk what my other one should be. its between computer literacy/computer applications or foods... i mean your freshman year i don't think that will matter too much about serious courses. i want to take foods cause i want to try somehting new. but my brother and my dad recommned i do computer literacy/applications. but i already know about computers and i don't want it to be a boring class. its for the full year too
im very confused
what would you take if you were me?

Regardless if it will be an easy class - take computers - it looks better on a college application than food - unless you want to be a chef.

Computer literacy/computer applications. I felt that same way when I had to take a computer course, but I learned how to do some things on Word and Excel that I didn't know. It really helped me get a job by knowing these skills as it wasn't required in college.
There's nothing wrong with brushing up on your computer skills, and like your brother said it will be an easy course if you're already good at computers.

If you really, really want to take foods you should, but when I was a freshman, I took computers because you needed to pass a semester in order to graduate. I figured I'd get it over with. So yeah, unless you have a real interest in foods, you ought to go with computers, and don't worry so much, you have three other years to take classses you want to take.

I think u should take cooking bc its awesome 2 learn and u get 2 stay active instead of sitting in a class all that day u no!
and cooking would stay with u forever u have 2 do it like every day for ur children and everybody!
