We're just being told by man (prophet, saint, priest, etc) not God, right? So how can we now that religion is true? It can be made up

Yes, but what they said are the words FROM god. silly.
Its like, your not supporting your claim at all! Your just using ideas that man created! You are actually supporting the oposite claimby sounding arrogent. You arent swaying any ones opinion with that. These people need to start using good arguments.
Its funny, an atheist can predict almost any religious response on a question. Yet, its hard to do that the other way around because our responses are intelligent and use facts and are different everytime depending on the context. Theirs are just the same few being churned over and over again. gets tiresome.

The Holy Ghost will manifest the truth of all things...praying to your Heavenly Father will also answer whether or not something is true. And yes, things can be "made up" that is why it is most important to ask who knows all truth - your Heavenly Father.

Beware of people who will tell you things such as: "believe because we say so," "mysterious ways," "be blind to facts," "believe without proof, without evidence, without thinking aka faith."

True religion is personal and experiential. You shouldn't take anything at face value. If you read a prophesy, don't believe it until you see it come to pass. If a mystic tells you do something, do it - and see if it works, or don't do it at all.

All you have to due is look at nature, and the human body to see we didnt get here by chance. You have to study a bit to fiqure out what religion is true.

moses really saw God before you know,and God is so bright and His light is so powerful thta people have from looking at His face.And Jesus is the second form of God so technically,God has told us things.
