You may check their website and send for a brochure that details where you can be married. It looks like you only have 13 or so choices; but the brochure may give more detailed information. Here is the link:

I don't know about scotland but in england definately no. Unfortunately the venue where you get married must be registered with birth deaths and marriages. the theory was that it meant that only "suitable" venues would be allowed, so yes, you can get married on the pitch at Aston Villa, but not in a gazebo in your family garden. It is unfair, ridiculous, and the whole fact that you can get married at a football ground, but not at home undermines the whole "seemly" aspect of the regs.
I was originally going to get married in england, but it meant the registry office, or an expensive wedding venue, (neither of us are religious, so church was out fo the question). We decided neither of these choices suited us, so we got married in my Husband's brothers garden in New York. My parents got marreid on a beach in Australia, the UK laws are unfair and an example of the influence the CoE as over certain aspects of legislation.

Check out the local Registrar Office but I guess weddings can only take place in/at places that are licensed/registered eg Hotels

The broad answer is no, all venues for marriages have to be registered for the purpose. Think again, you'll find another romantic place.

You can get married anywhere, just go and see the registrar or who ever is marrying you and let them know.
