Wahabist Islam rejects all human progress after the 3rd century. They want to bring the world back to the Dark Ages where blind fear and oppression ruled the day. They want a global Islamic empire ruled under an oppressive brand of Sharia and they want to kill anyone that gets in their way.

No matter where you go, or who you talk with, the end result is the same. Money, Power, and Control.

Take a look around you. From time immemorial is has been the same thing. Man, all men have desires. Some for power and wealth, others to be their stepping stones.

Don't kid yourself, mankind has not changed since he first walked the other. Mankind may have more knowledge, better technology, but when it comes right down to it man never ever ever changes. Just the technology he uses. Man always starts are zero with each baby born and ends when he dies. Technology progresses and never has to start at zero and never dies.

Man still has all the emotions as on day one. Man still can get screwed up in the head in various ways from various things. Technology, no so.

So when you ask do they know what they want. Yes they do, they all do. Money, Power, Control. Usually these people are all egotistic punks who think they are better then everyone else. Every single world leader fits this catagory. Everyone bar none.

That's an excellent question.

I'm sure that "trying to get away from what they have" is certainly a motivating factor, but, unfortunately, they seem to have also bought into an agenda of eventual domination.
Statements made by alQaeda make their objectives pretty plain - the entire world under Islamic law.

For instance, alQaeda direct quote:
"If America will not convert on its own, we will eventually become strong enough to topple the government and convert America and her people by force."

Pretty straight forward objective there - no gray area or ambiguity, either.

If the tactics of suicide bombs and the indiscriminate murder of thousands of innocent people isn't enough to wake up people to the reality of their threats - well, God help us when we finally face the consequences if we ignore them.
