CDs were offered but they didn't come standard.

Not all of them. The CD player was an option back in 1997 and so some Buicks did not get it. Each car has different options so some might have a CD player while others might not.

Probably not unless it was an after market addition. I assume that you do not have access to the car to just check it out.
