There is a place that you can learn ASL (American Sign Language) free on line. It's at:

http://www.lifeprint.com/

A better way though is to learn with someone else so you can practice what you learn. The best way is try to find out if there are any meetings for the deaf in your community. Go to those meetings if you can and see if you can spot what you learned from a book or from the Internet as the people communicate there. The deaf have their own culture so it will help you if you can learn about it. Try to practice every day and you will learn ASL.

I actually have studied B.S.L. (british signal language) to degree a million.searching on in which you adore it would want to also be very highly-priced! There are some "lively" web content in which you'd manage to be educated the basics regardless of the indisputable fact that theres no change for precise interaction- as with each and every language. try setting up "signal language" or B.S.L. or A.S.L.- something's suitable for you. signal language is human being!so expressive.

I have studied B.S.L. (british sign language) to level 1.Depending on where you love it can be very expensive!
There are several "animated" sites where you can learn the basics though theres no substitute for actual interaction- as with any language.
Try putting in "sign language" or B.S.L. or A.S.L.- whatever's appropriate for you.
sign language is wonderful!so expressive.
