I have tried swifters, paper towels and washcloths. From the side you can see a blotches of rough pathces or something, it's beyond description. Is there any solution I could use without messing the screen up?

I'd use simply a lint free cloth with slightly warm water, can't damage any screen with that.

do not use windex, in spite of if on a paper towel, or besides. Endust makes a product extremely for electronics. you should purchase it at any food market, Walmart, objective, etc. it is approximately $3 for a can of it. Spray slightly on a mushy textile and wipe down. do not press on the reveal screen, merely wipe gently. under no circumstances spray at as quickly as on electronics the two. i'm particular you recognize that.

Try unplugging it and letting it set for a few minutes, and the static charge on the screen will dissipate. Then after you clean it, let it dry before plugging it in again. That should take care of the problem. Best of luck.

The screen can scratch very easily, so you'll want to be very careful and selective about what you use so you don't do irrepairable harm to the surface of the screen.

I've heard that used dryer sheets are supposed to help keep the dust away.
I do laundry once a week, and then I clean my tv's afterwards. It seems like it works.
