No they are by a far cry not doing enough. Much would suggest that they are disobeying our very laws and certainly the will of the people by not doing so.
I will call these people Illegals as they came into our country "undocumented" and the numbers tell us that 90% of those folks use ILLEGAL paperwork, false ID, stolen ID etc. to continue life here. They are criminals by all accounts for those that may think otherwise.
We cannot allow this any longer. There are ways to make the people here legal as workers but that is not what those responsible want.
They want illegals because they have less power of law. They won't sue their employers as an AMerican would in cases of abuse or whatever. They also will work harder and for less as they know no different. In a short time these people will become just like the rest of us in their work habits. Monkey see, monkey do. We cannot allow these people to be here illegally.
They will use our sevices and erode our life styles into degradation beyond that of a first world country. So many elements of loss, so much to lose.
Frankly, the question is will AMerica allow itself to overtaken by a foreign country without firing a shot? The scarey answer is that I am concerned that it will. It frighten many of us and we have a right and a mandate to have it changed.

They aren't doing enought o keep them from staying here. I don't mind so much if they want to come across and shop or visit it's when they decide to move here, get a jobs and DRIVE on our streets that I have a problem.

People keep saying "they only want a better life" but they ARE breaking the law. If I go rob a bank because I want a better life then how is that really different? They are both a felony, and in both cases we'd be stealing from American citiozen's.

The NUMBER ONE thing they need to do is stop giving free citizenship to EVERYONE born here! Tons of countires have rules and at least one of your parents need to be a citizen. My only problem with this is that next you will have forign women paying American men to father children for them. We need to do something though.

I live in Las Vegas, NV and there are now more Hispanic children in the public school system then any other kind including "white".

WE NEED to do MUCH more to prevent ILLEGAL immigration!
if not then any nation who so desires could invade the US at any time.
oh and r1b1c* comming into this county without the proper documents IS ILLEGAL!
If it wasn't you wouldn't need documents see below:
Sec. 211. [8 U.S.C. 1181]

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) and subsection (c) no immigrant shall be admitted into the United States unless at the time of application for admission he (1) has a valid unexpired immigrant visa or was born subsequent to the issuance of such visa of the accompanying parent, and (2) presents a valid unexpired passport or other suitable travel document, or document of identity and nationality, if such document is required under the regulations issued by the Attorney General. With respect to immigrants to be admitted under quotas of quota areas prior to June 30, 1968, no immigrant visa shall be deemed valid unless the immigrant is properly chargeable to the quota area under the quota of which the visa is issued.

The U.S. is not doing enough to keep illegals from entering our
Country.....sooooo sooner than you think we will be dominated,

There not doing enough if anything to control the situation. They aren't following up on visas, protecting our borders or doing enough in checks. Seems to be a free for all while they ignore basic things.

not doing enough. we need clearer background checks in home countries to keep those who should NOT recieve visas OUT. we also need to allow LEGAL entry to happen in a more efficient manner...meaning, make the rules of the game actually playable. and once we do that, we can freely speed up LEGAL border activity, and therefore put more man power into catching ILLEGAL immigrants who are crossing at non designated crossings. We can also catch border officers/port authorities/everyday border citizens who are accepting bribes from drug trafficers, and human smugglers.

Of course not, the US is too scared to truly enforce the laws and offend all the bleeding heart organizations out there. The way I see it, the US should just "do it", and get it over with and people will protest and speak their beef, but you know what, it will settle down and they will forget. Remember that poor little Cuban kid E, Gonzales in Florida, yea, they protested, and cried and screamed, but they got over it.

Incorrect term in out system of law, only what has been explicitly forbidden by law is illegal, everything else is perfectly legal.

There is no law that explicitly forbids entry into the United States, there are a myriad of laws that REGULATE the entry into this country, so the correct way to refer to people that failed to follow established legal procedure for entry is UNDOCUMENTED, since in order for somebody to become 'illegal' there would have to be a law that they have actively broken. That is not the case, by being in the US without having followed the proper legal procedure for entry they are UNDOCUMENTED not illegal. lol

That said, yes and no. Yes because we are a capitalist nation, were supply and demand rules the land, if there is greater supply than demand then the situation will regularize itself, these people will not find jobs and return home. No, because we have laws and procedures that should be followed for that supply to be met.
