People do see it, but they choose to ignore it. There are meth labs everywhere but the police or the government don't care but get out on the street handing out bibles, I am sure someone will call the police. That is just how this sick world operates.

Many people ignore the selling of drugs because they feel there life is too busy and it does not affect them directly. Besides, depending on where you live, have you ever called the police Dept. and said "hey, I know where a crack house is?". Most of the time they won't do anything because they need circumstantial evidence that they can't get.

Drugs should be legalized and controlled. If you look at it pragmatically, there isn't anybody in the country that wants drugs but can't get ahold of them. Criminalization has been a failure. It would be far better to legalize it for anybody 21 years or older. When I went to high school, it was far easier to get weed than it was to get beer.

All we are doing with the current strategy is filling our jails with otherwise harmless people, funding cartels and fueling turf wars among criminal elements.

It's time to try something else.

I agree. It's easy enough to call the police and have them check the situation out. If the police do nothing then the community must place responsibility on them.

Americans should stop wasting money on religion and promoting dogma and spend it on drug awareness programmes.
