I have been trying to figure out why our President doesn't do anything real on this. I have heard there is a multi national group thing that combines Mexico, the US and Candada into one, large country coming down the pike? Anyone know about that? New money etc. Kinda like what was done in Europe?

Yes Fivefoot: This is the circumstance I was interested in. So you say it was nullified? It was deffiniteyly kep under lock and key by the media. Never heard of it myself. Yes, I know the the Pres. history and fam thangy. No excuse for going against what the people have voiced unless argued in public to my way of thinking. The CROOK!

Yes I read that Bush signed a superpower agreement with Canada and Mexico, and sh*t hit the fan when congress found out. It was not super public knowledge and kept quiet as possible. I think that is what he wanted, but congress vetoed it and the citizens that found out, had some serious problems with it also. I think it would be okay, if they could come up with enough police force to tame those in Mexico. They are wild down there, in many ways that the USA and CANADIANS have conquered in terms of human behaviors. Tame them and teach them ENGLISH< our laws, etc, before they opened that lower border, but also USA does not legalize marijuana while Canada has up to 1/4 for personal use.
Bush is not doing much because he allowed an illegal nanny/housekeeper to raise his daughters and encouraged her to become legal, and also has a latino for a sister in law.

The President,Senate, and the Congress are violating their constitution duties by not abiding by the will of the people. A little fact this administration has chose to ignore. Why do they do it? Because they can. We have become a nation of complacent do nothings. There should be daily marches and protests on the White House. The next generations will end up with a U.S. that none of us will recognize. Civil disobedience is the DUTY of every American citizen.

Are you claiming to know what the will/desires of Americans are on any one issue? To what percentile?
A free-trade arrangement is already in progress. Don't expect Canada and Mexico to agree to a "central" government structure like the European Union, since America will dominate it. Don't expect Americans to accept the dilution of their power either.
I think it's a left-wing pipe dream, and the right-wing is happy to play along just to ease trade restrictions.

Truth be told, the majority of gov. officials truly are only interested in money and votes. That is the only logical answer. It's all about their pocketbook, otherwise, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now.
