My g/f is wanting to get a tattoo on her lower back and I'm not tooo keen on it..I mean, think of it when she's 70-80 years old.

The fact that she wants it in a discreet place means she's given it some thought. After all - it IS her body. I have 2 tattoos, both in places that you would only see if I am scantily clad - and they are nice. So, it's not like the general public would even know. As for when she's 70-80 years old, how many seniors do you see running around in belly tops, or low riders?

i like tattoos and i plan to get one soon enough but just a piece of advice if she gets it on her lower back she might want to know that some guys consider is a "tramp stamp" just so she knows but if she wants it then she can get it and if you truly love her then you won't care that she has a tattoo by the time she's 70 or 80

I have 4, 1 in a very VERY viewable spot, a tribal heart/swans whatever people see it as on the right side of my neck, and I've never gotten anything but positive feedback from it,
the other is on my chest (not my breast) above my left breast,of a cobra coiled around 2 blue roses so you can se it when I wear spaghetti strap tops.
The other is on my left leg/calv, of a humming bird with it's tail partially wrapped around my leg.
And the last is a home done small black outline heart......
It's her body..... as long as she isn't like trying to amputee fingers and stuff, let her do what she wants.

The way I see it They are a way to show self expression, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them! Hell... I'm only 17 and I already have 3 and I love them, and my boyfriend who is 8 years older than me, even though he says he would never get one himself, understands my view on tattoos, and he loves them on me. And I love that about him. SO.... if you girl want to get a tattoo, then let her get one.... it's not going to be on you.... it's going to be on her and this is her choice... it's her body... she's the one that going to have to deal with it 30 or 40 years from now and if she wants it, then let her get it!

So, by the time that I am 70-80, who's gonna give a damn? i'm not gonna be posing in playboy at that age!! Besides, by then, a majority of people will have them, and I could be one rocking granny!

Yes I know plenty of girls with tattoos. Beside if you like her for her self it would not matter weather or not she got one or not.
