It's only the part of my eyes that is exposed to the environment, because when I look up or down and pull at my eyelid, I can see how much whiter the rest of of eyes are. My eyes have been like this for a long time, and doctors have never said anything about it, so I tend not to think I have some kind of disease, but is there any way to fix it or am I just going to have to live with it? Some of my friends have the whitest eyes and I don't quite understand why it's different for me. Thanks!

OK PEOPLE, wow I didn't know what jaudice was so I looked it up and saw pictures, and I do NOT have that. They're no way near like that, it's just that I can tell the difference between the whiteness of my eyes under my lids than the part that is usually exposed. I think maybe it's normal? Lol.

I believe your liver is congested.
I do not endorse nor condone any of the links I've provided, below. They are merely resources for you to click on and find what may be related to why your eyes are slightly yellow and that the doctors haven't seen an urgent need to discuss it with you. Hope you find out what it is.

I have the same problem. The inner part of the whites of my eyes seem to have developed light yellow "spots (one each eye)." I was concerned, but like you said, it's more just because it doesn't look as nice as those ultra whites. I have been to two eye doctors who both said just to wear sunglasses more often. Not the "official" kind of answer I was hoping for with a definite fix, but it looks like it'll be as good as it gets! Also I have upped my water intake, and that does seem to help. If you wear contact lenses, i'd like to suggest the new Accuvue Oasys contacts. They are more porous, to allow more oxygen through to your eyes, eliminating discoloration. That was doctor's orders for me, and it did help a bit. Honestly it is probably a combo both of UV exposure from the sun, and just good ol' fashioned aging. Make sure you ALWAYS where your sunglasses outside during the day, EVEN WHEN IT'S CLOUDY! Good luck! :) PS I am only 23, and probably noticed the yellow areas develop at about 17 or 18.

You may have a minor form of hepatitus - go back to you doctor and INSIST that he check it out - it will require a blood test.

are you around a smoking environment? MMm. You should go to a doctor if you're really worried about it.

Sounds like your liver, Have your primary doctor order a blood test to see if you are having liver trouble. Do this as soon as you can.
You're welcome!!
