My daughter is looking for a song for when they show the slides of her younger years. She is thinking about "BROWN EYED GIRL" by Van Morrison and "TIME OF YOUR LIFE" by Green Day. You guys have any more ideas?

This song won't be played at the wedding. It will be played at the reception during a slideshow. They are having 3 songs...one for Ashlie when she is younger, one for Jim, her fiance, when he is younger and then one when they are together. The song they are having when they are showing pics of Jim and Ashlie together is "MEMORIES OF US" by Keith Urban.

There was a song by Spiral Staricase in the late 1960's that I think was called "More Today Than Yesterday". It talks about love that is not as much as tomorrow. Good thoughts for a wedding. It is an up-beat song that would be nice for such a happy occassion. To tell the truth, "Brown Eyed Girl" is a nice song, but it seems a little somber for a wedding.

I am a country music fan, and if you're a daddy asking this question, I think that the song "I Loved Her First" by Heartland would be perfect. I'm planning on having that song played when I get married just before my dad gives me away. The song is so beautiful, and it's a real "choker", so have some Kleenex handy. I wish your daughter the best.
