mango, love CAN happen atany age..BUT its hard to know this when you're 14 but at your age its more likely to be very strong affection,infatuation cos love takes time. I KNOW cos I was 14 once and I remember my heart being broken, I remember thinking it would never get better but it did! IF someone is hurting u All the time u DESERVE better AND u CAN GET BETTER.I bet if u ignore him he'll realise he's bein a jerk hurting u and he'll either treat u better or he'll know he cant walk all over u.Put your friends and yoursef first and put him out of your mind and I bet you'll see other guys u like and that like u.

You could fall in love at 14, but in a few years you will wonder what it was all about. You will get over this - even if it is just a crush, your feelings are very real to you. If he had done nothing but hurt you for over a year you would be better off without him.

OK if all this guy has done is hurt you then he really does not deserve your love in the first place, try to back off and give it some time. I know it does not seem like it just now but you will move on from him eventually.
If you believe it is true love for you then it will be, don't listen to other people when it comes to love. Its meaning is unique to you not anyone else regardless of age.

i loved a boy hu treated me bad aswell but in the end he ended up breaking up with me. Love can happen at any age wheter ur friends fink it is a crush or not. Love can trick u into fings, no matter how much sum1 does 2 u deep down u will always love them. I hope u make the right choice xxxx

True love can happen at any time but from the fact he hurt you. You not in love nor is he. Why settle for being hurt - it not something you would pick is it? If some one loves you they do not want you to be hurt. Without being patronising you are too young to know what love is - its something you learn in life. Life experiences helps.

you may think you love him, but from what you have said he doesn't love you if he has hurt you for the past year you need to revise your thinking on love if you love a guy who just hurts you you either have low selfesteem or just don't know what true love is, best wishes on figuring that one out
