Absolutely. My spells work pretty much all the time, usually within a few days of being cast.
For instance, once there was this person who was regularly accosting me in hallways and threatening to hurt me. I was so frightened of him, that one day I came home and cast a binding spell on him at once. Even though I saw him every day after that (because of work), he never spoke to me, threatened me, or even made eye contact with me ever again. I was very relieved.

All my successful spells could also be called coincidence--my magic works by "natural means," and that's the definition. I just have a surprising number of tremendously lucky and timely coincidences if I do magic.
