I know how u feel, sort of. My brother got out of the military two weeks before troops were sent in 1991, and i was alomost 16.
All you can do is tell him you love him, and that you'll be there for him when he comes home. That, by itself, could keep him alive while he's there. He'll have someone to come home to, which will boost his morale. I hope he comes home safe. hope this helps.

my uncle was going to be deployed to Iraq and i said to him i loved him so so so much.he used to spoil me rotten. and i sat down and i told him that i love him 2 much.i didn't want him 2 go anywhere. but then he said to me "its my choice, and its what i need to do for my country" i cried for about 4 days. and then he phoned me and said that hes not going. he point is that its you boyfriends choice. so tell him how you feel from the bottom of your heart.
p.s i know what you are going through, good luck xxx
