I myself never. I am a 26 year old guy (since yesterday) and never
had a girlfriend whatsoever.
Ofcourse due to severel reasons I do NOT have any self esteem AT all.. And frankly am affraid to approach women (dunno why).

I was just wondering though. How old were you when you first had sex with the opposite sex?

I was 20 - my girlfriend was 17. That was 12 years ago; we are still together now married with 3 kids.

While I was at school I was always the one with no girlfriend and was always accused of being homosexual. Everyone else was out having sex on Friday nights. It is difficult to be around people like this - you feel less of a man than they do and your self esteem vanishes.

Dont get too hung up about never having had sex. When you meet the right girl it will be more special for never having spread yourself about when you were younger.

I was not given that choice , and to answer ur question the first time I CHOSE to have intercourse I was 15. the other 4 1/2 . I won't talk about myself but several people I know had their first sexual experience when they were 21. This includes some very popular types as well as less popular people. This surprised me at the time because I assumed all through high school and college that everybody was active at a younger age than that.

Go out and seek out some help with the shyness. It will be OK. You need to learn to be OK with rejection and you need to join groups where men and women for natural and easy friendships.Try Toastmasters. In Toastmasters you learn to talk comfortably in a small group and even give speeches. There is a great mix of men and women. I know many people who formed lifetime friendships this way. I know several who met their future husband or wife this way.

self esteem can be "cut around" in a sense, u dont have to be good loking or be a smooth talker, just be urself but not boring, girls lkes funny or interesting stories, being witty can really keep a convo going, never act lke what ur not but dont let it all hang loose, just wear casual clothes, give a small smile or grin and just make sure theres nuthing in ur teeth, dont try too hard, u would know when it happens

sounds like your looking for the "average age" so you can see how bad you measure up.. what little self esteem you do have is being sabotaged by YOU. you're defeating yourself before you play the game. self criticism is useful to a degree, but after a certain point you need to stop thinking about how much you think you suck and try to LEARN from your mistakes/ downfalls/ etc... - my advice, surround yourself with GOOD friends and focus on enjoying yourself - once you are happy with yourself, someone else can be too
