He was not what Hollywood and the marketing agencies of today portray as attractive.
Isaiah 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Isaiah lived 700 years before Jesus was born. He was one of the greatest prophets of old, who prophesied much about the one who was to come, the savior of the world. When you read the book of Isaiah you see Jesus as the one whom the world was waiting for.

It is recorded that Pontius Pilate, who governed the Jews in Jerusalem during Jesus' ministry, wrote the following to Tiberious Caesar regarding Jesus of Nazareth:
"One day in passing by the place of Siloe, where there was a great concourse of people, I observed in the midst. of the group a young man who was leaning against a tree, calmly addressing the multitude. I was told it was Jesus, (Heb. Yahshua).
This I could easily have suspected, so great was the difference between him and those listening to him.
He appeared to be about 30 years of age. Never have I seen a sweeter or more serene countenance. What a contrast between him and his hearers, with their black beards and tawny complexions...
I wrote to Jesus requesting an interview with him at the praetorium. He came. You know that in my veins flows the Spanish mixed with Roman blood--as incapable of fear as it is of weak emotion. When the Nazarene made his appearance, I was walking in my basillc, and my feet seemed fastened with an iron hand to the marble pavement, and I trembled in every limb as does a guilty culprit, though the Nazarene was as calm as innocence itself.
When he came up to me he stopped, and by a signal sign he seemed to say to me, 'I am here' , though he spoke not a word. For some time I contemplated with admiration and awe this extraordinary type of man--a type of man unknown to our numerous painters who have given form and figure to all the gods and the heroes. There was nothing about him that was repelling in its character. yet I felt too awed and tremulous to approach him."
Others have described him as being tall and thin, bearded, and having long hair. I believe many portraits we have today closely resemble what Jesus looked like when he walked the earth.

He was dark or olive complected like the rest of the Jewish people were. His hair was mostlikely not even touching his shoulders because God did not way men to have long hair. His facial hair could not be long either.
1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
But this is what God says that Jesus will look like when He returns for his Chruch/bride. Praise the Lord!
Revelation 1:13-16 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

It gives a brief description in the bible. So far, what you see on documentaries or stories of Christ, is him having short beard, and long brown hair. Some Jesus pictures show him with short hair. The most common picture is the long hair, beard and long white robe, and him being a white man. But we'll just have to wait and see.

"Popular mechanics" published an image of what Jesus Christ probably looked like. He apparently had a broad peasant's face, dark olive skin, short curly hair and a prominent nose. He was 5-foot-1-inch tall and weighed 110 pounds.
You can find the image here: http://archives.cnn.com/2002/TECH/science/12/25/face.jesus/index.html
This was the esult of a very long research.

I think Jesus looked like a tribal jew from the middle east.
Which is all the true.
I also believe he looks like what YOUR heart tells you he does.
Love puts a face on a person, that no one else can see.
Good q! Ask it tomorrow at church- I love this one!

Every one says Jesus was not black.......But if you are a smart person you can connect the dots. Jesus lived in Africa....it is hot in africa.......people in africa are very dark.........or black. He must have had some type of color if he lived in africa. So it makes me mad when people argue about him being pale white. But I bet he was not Dark dark but I bet you he was closer to being black then being white. And it said in the bible he had hair of wool. Most and that is sort of like black people hair. So i think he had a medium or darker skin color with long hair and always had a smile. =D

certainly nothing like the effeminate pictures we see of him everywhere he was a middle eastern Jew And not some fair haired blue eyed long haired hippy looking fellow !below ivre pasted the oldest description of him by a Roman who may have met him
The following was taken from a manuscript in the possession of Lord Kelly, and in his library, and was copied from an original letter of Publius Lentullus at Rome. It being the usual custom of Roman Governors to advertise the Senate and people of such material things as happened in their provinces in the days of Tiberius Caesar, Publius Lentullus, President of Judea, wrote the following epistle to the Senate concerning the Nazarene called Jesus.
"There appeared in these our days a man, of the Jewish Nation, of great virtue, named Yeshua [Jesus], who is yet living among us, and of the Gentiles is accepted for a Prophet of truth, but His own disciples call Him the Son of God- He raiseth the dead and cureth all manner of diseases. A man of stature somewhat tall, and comely, with very reverent countenance, such as the beholders may both love and fear, his hair of (the colour of) the chestnut, full ripe, plain to His ears, whence downwards it is more orient and curling and wavering about His shoulders. In the midst of His head is a seam or partition in His hair, after the manner of the Nazarenes. His forehead plain and very delicate; His face without spot or wrinkle, beautified with a lovely red; His nose and mouth so formed as nothing can be reprehended; His beard thickish, in colour like His hair, not very long, but forked; His look innocent and mature; His eyes grey, clear, and quick- In reproving hypocrisy He is terrible; in admonishing, courteous and fair spoken; pleasant in conversation, mixed with gravity. It cannot be remembered that any have seen Him Laugh, but many have seen Him Weep. In proportion of body, most excellent; His hands and arms delicate to behold. In speaking, very temperate, modest, and wise. A man, for His singular beauty, surpassing the children of men"
