Maybe try to pick a similar blue from your dishes as an accent color for drapes or blinds.

Your floor in tan is a fairly neutral color, with which most other colors would blend.

The yellow walls make a good background color.

I would say, since it's a small room that you don't want too much going on, or else it will look cluttered. Maybe introduce one more color, not more, to combine with other existing colors for any other accessories you want to add. Don't add too many patterns as that would not help co-ordination.

You can also get ideas from places like Home Depot.

Good luck and happy decorating.

I love yellow for a kitchen! Very sunny and bright. And since you have Blue Willow dishes i would carry out the blue theme as well. Match the place mats or table cloth with a blue/yellow theme..the curtains i would do in a pastel yellow so as not to darken the room. Sounds lovely to me. And perhaps a nice watercolor of a beach with sand dunes/blue water, etc.

My dad's female buddy painted the kitchen yellow years in the past. i did not like it in the commencing up yet have been given used to it and the different colorings she used have been great with yellow. do not use something too dramatic, and don't use too many different colorings. She used colorings like white and lightweight green. here curtains are white with green and yellow vegetation. yet from what you reported, your different colorings are rather darkish, so perhaps bypass gentle, and test earlier finding out. What you could prefer to do is teach photographs of your kitchen/front room, simply by fact that's stressful giving adorning advice once you won't be able to work out something.

cabinets and counter tops are too neutral, use burnt orange or yellow for the walls, (matches your dishes), it is important to always use a window treatment, maybe roman shades or white shutters, dont use vertical or horizontal blindes!! too 90's,
