I told my guy friend (Zac) and he's acting all mad and concerned and stubborn. He says things like "I hate him!" I ask why he says "nothing I just hate him don't go out with him ali..." so I'm like "but I want to he's cute funny great to talk to (etc etc)" "well so am i..." "ok whats wrong y do u keep comparing yourself?!" "its nothing forget about it" i say i wont and "nothing you say will keep me from going out with him this weekend so u might as well tellme whats up your a s s zac..." "its nothing [send] ali just forget about it [send] I g2g [send] cya [send] :' ( [send and sign off]"

Whats wrong? Do you think there might be something up between him and his girlfriend cause he REALLY LIKES HER shes all he talks about...

I'm still rly pumped to go on that date YAY

I'm guessing Zac has feelings for you but doesn't want to ruin your friendship by asking you out or feels that you would shoot him down. If he's a good friend and knows of a concrete reason why you shouldn't date this guy, he would tell you.

As for his girlfriend, he may be trying to show you what a good boyfriend he can be by talking about his girl often. He's showing you how supportive and loving he can be.

Because he can't step up, he's innately jealous of any other guy that does. That's my theory anyhow.

Zac is player-hating -- plain and simple -- he is a wuss.

Go on the date and leave Zac alone.

Zac will call YOU and ask how the date went because Zac wishes he was the guy you are going on the date with, but he lacks the balls to tell you.

I agree with some of the other posts - Zac wants you. Even if he's not willing to make a move, he clearly wants you to remain available.

Sounds like he might just be overprotective of his fav, Galpal and really hate this guy or think he's not worthy.

And there's a possibility that while he has his own gal, he may have always had a thang for you...and just can't admit to it. And sometimes they talk a lot about things they aren't getting ...like sex, ect...because they really want it or want you to be jealous.

Could be he knows something you don't. Sounds like your theory about some history between him and the girlfriend could be close. Get him drunk and then ask him. Usually works for me. Not too drunk though; might get more'n you bargained for. Another theory is that he fancies you - go careful on that one...

it sounds like to me that he likes you and is getting a little jealous because you found someone that u might actually like and hang out with.. So maybe hes afraid of not seeing you so much if you start seeing this guy.
