No, not at all. In fact, some spells call for the destruction of a specific Tarot card (depending on the spell).

A well-worn Tarot deck just has more love and magic within it than a shiny brand new one. I'd recommend a dab of glue and a lot of gentle handling. :)

Yopu should get a new deck on practical grounds. Now you know which card that one is, it messes with the randomising factor. also it will get more damage every time you shufle, when the torn edge catches on the other cards.

And no, it's not bad luck outside of itself, the only bad luck is having to fork out for a new pack :(

I guess its up to the believer.I don't believe in Tarot cards so I don't think its bad luck.
