it depends on what the promise was about. if it was to attend a dance or such then no. but it if it was like keeping a secret yes. Also it varies on the conditions of the break-up. If you are still friends then i would take that in consideration. if you dislike him now then the promise is no longer valid.

I agree with "crazy for him". Mostly, the answer is no, but certain secrets or whatever might be better kept secret. You don't want to get a reputation as a vengeful ex.

it depends. is that certain promise connected to your being bf-gf? cause if it is, and you're not bf-gf now, then it isn't valid anymore :)
