When i get out of the shower, my hair is pretty and wavy. But i have REALLY thick hair so when it dries it POOFS out. Like major poof. I want it to stay wavy, b/c it looks so cute!!! FYI i always air dri my hair so don't suggest that.

No- Defusing dryer will help you.
Get some non-fizz lotion and work it from the bottom upward and twist you hair into ringlets curls and allow it to dry.
That should "force" a shape, keep it soft and help ya out.

Sounds exactly like my hair. You need to use a mixture of a leave-in conditioner, gel and a frizz serum. While your hair is wet, mix this all together in your hands and speard evenly through your hair. Finish with hair spary and a shine spray if you want.

You can do two things. Either use a very light rinse-out conditioner/ detangler and then use a good lightweight leave-in conditioner on damp hair and let air dry. Or, use your regular conditioner and a little grooming/styling cream on damp hair. Hair will be less poofy.

i know exactly what to do, when u get dat wet n wavy look after gettin out of the shower, use hair spray or gel to hold that look

try scrunching it with some mousse and let it air dry after you have done that.
