When will the government wake up and do something about the vast infestation of Britain by asylum seekers?
For quite a few years now has many of our towns and citys been forced to accomadate these leeches into our society who seem to think their backwards customs and religions must be adhered to by the British public.

Just recently there have been crowds of these people put into housing near me(I'm assuming they are muslims due to their dress and manner) who seem to do nothing all day but roam the streets and breed.

What value do these people bring?>None they are another unwanted burden on us the taxpayers.

To give some credit the Polish at least try to fit in and work unlike the Iraq's Somalians,Iranians who like to place the race card at every turn.

If you bleeding heart librels dont mind them and want them to stay here have them move into your middle class communitiys and see how you like it.

I fully agree with you up to a point, i must say. I am asian as in from the indian subcontinent. My parents came here 30 years back as immigrants from british east africa. They came here with nothing. They only had £50.00 in sterling when they landed at heathrow with me and my sister. They never relied on the state for anything. My father was at the timean accounts graduate and set up his own accountancy firm. In my area there were no other asians. My parents introduced themselves to their english neighbours and became good friends with them. My mother would give some indian dishes left over from dinner to our neighbours who were obviously english. They would in turn invite my mum and dad for tea and cakes once or twice a month.
This give and take led to many of these native english to embrace my parents as neighbours and friends, knowing full well that they are different and from a different country.

In those days when it was unprecedented for english persons to see alot of indian persons around them, i feel that it was harder to be accepted. Some indian persons did have a bad experience when they came here but the point i am trying to make is that now in this country indian persons are still regarded as immigrants and me the child of immigrants but We are accepted as our parents were because english persons can see that we are family loving people who happen to be hard wrking as well.

I think the key here is hard working and fair. To this end my parents now live in the same house and now still offer indian food to their by now pensioner neighbours but instead of going over to theirs for occasional tea and cakes they now go on holiday with them 2 times a year to all kinds of places around the world.

Let this be a model to new immigrants to the Uk who are reading this and indeed immigrants anywhere. You can still keep your identity (my mother still wears a sari) and still be accepted by the native persons in the country you have immigrated to but for gods sake try to integrate as my parents tried and you will see the english will accept you and more importantly respect and like you !

Oh please. The iranians I've seen try to fit in tooooo much! They use different names and everything. Is there a reason you used islamic countries in your example. Just say it, you don't like muslims. Why hide your racism?

If a muslim wants to dress a certain way, what's the problem? Don't generalise all muslims, or all somalians, iranians, iraqis etc...

I don't think I've ever seen an iranian (apart from me) who doesn't try to fit in...seriously...

If alll the people not originally from UK left the UK, there would be hardly anyone left since many of the original people have left the country anyway. So who would be here to pay all them taxes and things? Wouldn't prices go up? The country would be useless...

AND think about it like this...what about muslim people who are actually english converts...what would happen to them? They look different, but this IS there country, so what should happen to them?

I understand your frustration at foreigners but if you must know this country was built by riches of other countries. Ever had of the commonwealth countries? Anyway these are countries which were ruled by this country under her Majesty's order. have you ever heard of a gold mine in the UK? So much was taken by this country from all those commonwealth countries to better the citizens of this country. In other words I am saying many people feel part of this empire whether you like it on not.Repatriation is a must.

Another reason is that our beloved England gets itself involved in other countries' problems and conflicts therefore it is inevitable that asylum seekers and refugees run to this country. For example look at the IRAQ war. USA and this country went to war to liberate the IRAQs, so would you blame IRAQs for claiming asylum and refugee in this country when it is all clear to see that IRAQ is in its mess coz of the English speaking peoples' foreign policies.

I'm certainly not a 'bleeding heart liberal' in fact I live in an area similar to yours, I am atheist and anti racist!
Have you ever actually spoken to any of these people? Do you understand why they have left their own country?
Could you imagine for even a moment if you needed to do the same thing?
Just as a matter of interest imagine you had to move to a Muslim country (for whatever reason) you have to leave your friends, family, and country behind! Wouldn't it be nice to find a friendly face, some one you could talk to, someone to give you advise on local culture!Etc etc.
Instead you are faced with opposition from all sides! What a thought.
Hell on earth.
Sorry but I can't agree with anything you have said, if you like it or not we are fast becoming a multi racists world, like it and live with it, understand each other, talk to each other, or just lump it!

I agree on some points. however you can't put all of them into that catagory and u must consider their previous circumstances. I do agree that they are higher up on the housing register and appear to use the race card to get more out of the government than we do. |we should be attacking the government though not the people.

here here, well said. i to dont mind the polish as much. you only have to take one look in our town center now to see mass groups of asylum seekers hanging around. it makes me sick, and mad to know there is nothing that we can do!!! and nobody can say that these people are trying to flee there country because of pesicusion thats crap. i would have and do have a lot of sympathy for genuine asylum seekers desperate for help. but most are just after a meal ticket!!!!!!!!!!

1) Most 'illegal' immigrants aren't allowed to work in this country, because they don't have work permits or visas.
2) Many 'legal' immigrants work bloody hard and contribute to this society as much as people born here.
3) There are lots of white british who do nothing but lie around all day claiming benefits.

4) Do you ever for one moment imagine what it must be like to come to a strange country, often leaving family members behind suffering dreadful hardships to get here? Yet that is preferable to what is left behind - children dying of illnesses like measles and tummy bugs, living in countries ravaged by war and dreadful, grinding poverty.

5)We sow what we reap - most of Africa and a lot of the Middle East suffered dreadfully under colonialism, and now all our chickens are coming home to roost.

I agree with you, the Poles are actually doing something worthwhile, they are putting something back into society, unlike the millions scrounging others who do nothing except wander the streets!

You have put a worthwhile question on here, and I am proud that somene with a bit of common sense has decided "Enough is enough" and has made a stand for what he believes in.

I respect your view, and everything it says!

Its about time we took a stand for what's right!

Nice work pal!

Multiculturalism is also formed by legal immigrants you know. And without it Britain 'would' be boring. Guaranteed.
Also, there are plenty of born Brits who 'leech' off benefits; where should we send them then?

Also, to say that all Iraqi's, Somalians and Iranian's don't work is not valid, unless you've carried out some kind of nationwide survey.

Mass, unchecked immigration is a problem yes, but this has nothing to do with the benefits of valid persons coming here to live, and share their customs with us.

We are *all* immigrants after all.

well people . u r talking about immigrants as if they wre made from another material than u r .those people r made of flesh and blood . and they wouldn't come to your neighbourhood unless they were absoulotly obligated .do u know how much it coasts to reach to europe form the middle east ,the whole family savings to get one member ot of mesery.and do u realise what role u play the cultured, educated ,developed countries in this mesery?i don't blame u for not wellcoming foreigners, but u can model your legislation to force them to work and earn thier food.many of those are well educated and can do alot.and many has run from thier societies to find the dream in europe . after all weren't u who called for the globalization and make the world as one village???
