Whatever looks good on you of course. Something that isn't too flashy, but does look like you try to make it look nice. Soemthing fresh.

If you're going for a first impression, wear what's easiest and simplest, but most importantly natural. That way, you won't feel like you're letting people down if you decide to just throw it up in a pony one day. Also, if you do decide to do something different later, everyone will be impressed because they know you put some effort into it.
But if you've already made your first impression, you could go for a number of practical styles. Personally when I'm trying to focus on a math equation or my english paper, I like my hair out of my face. It's a distraction to keep having to shove it behind my ear just for it to fall down in my face again two seconds later. When I do have it down, I put it in a pony for class and take it out after.
To get my hair out of my face, I'll put it half up, half down, in a sleek pony, a low pony, a low bun or keep it down with the sides twisted back and pinned.
If you like your hair down, you could go straight with a side part which gives you volume if you don't have any, or wavy/ scrunched with a part down the middle. If you're going for hair to really match your outfit, try and find a flower pin that you could put in.
Whatever you do, go for variety! When you do, you'll always have somebody coming up to you saying, "I like your hair today" because it's different than the day before.
