at my friends house i use limewire but now that i put it at home I can get nothing to come up all it says is that its connenting how long should it take to the netwok.

Check in the readme file and make sure LimeWire's settings match your firewall and proxy server. Also make certain your firewall is permitting the connection.

try hitting the refresh icon at the top...if not,cancel and start the download over !!! good luck ..

If there are a lot of viruses on the computer it will do that.
