This recipe is Paula Deen's from the Food Network.
4 cups cooked elbow macaroni, drained
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
4 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Once you have the macaroni cooked and drained, place in a large bowl and while still hot and add the cheddar. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and add to the macaroni mixture. Pour macaroni mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 30 to 45 minutes. Top with additional cheese if desired.

My mom used to make me the KRAFT-style macaroni and cheese when I was a kid, and once I made it home-made we never went back.
Start with boiling elbow macaroni in a large pot of boiling water (salted). When the pasta is just minutes from being done, drain the water and pour the pasta into a plastic bowl.
Next in a seperate pain heat up a mixture of milk/cream, 1 tsp. of paprika and half a package of Velveeta cheese, and then stir the pot continuously on Low heat untill melted. (the mixture shouldn't be too thick so add milk as needed).
Then add the macaroini into the pot, with half a package of shredded cheddar cheese, fold everything together. When this is done, add the entire mixture to a large casserole pan. Top the entire thing with the remainder of cheese.
Then put dish in the over at 350 F degrees for 30-45 minutes, or untill the cheese on top has caramelized.
