Im sorry youre in pain. Toothaches can be very painful. The best thing ive taken for almost immediate pain relief is ibuprofin. Its the best. If you cant get it prescribed, you can get in at swap meets without prescription. you might have a n infection so take some pinicilin. Also at the swap meet if not prescibed. The pinicilin will kill the infection and the ibu will eleviate the pain. If you have a cavity youre probablly exposing the nerves causing more pain. you could crush cloves into a power and make a little paste with a little alcohol and dab a tiny cotton swab and put it in the gap for the time being. These are just bandaid suggestions and I know they work cuz i have done it and i always feel better. But make sure you go to the dentist even when you are not feeling the pain. Good luck! Oh!!! also, When I have taken my meds and im waiting for the pain to go away, I hold a ice pack to my face...it helps too.

Wen you have a toothache. This can reduce the pain by 50 pecent. Rub an ice cube into the v-shaped area wher the bones of the thumb and forefinger meet. Gently push the ice over the area for 5 to 7 minutes. It has been proven in a study by a Canadian researcher that it works in 60 to 90 percent of the people who try it. I can attest to that I did it a while back and it worked for me.

Ibuprofen, or Oil of clove rubbed on the tooth. Even teething gel can help take the pain off a bit. Phone the out of service emergency dentist and get it sorted out.

Go to the pharmacy and get the OTC used for baby's cutting teeth. There are two strengths, get the stronger. It works for the short terms.
Pain in a tooth means problems and should not be ignored. Did you know that an infection in the mouth/teeth can spread to the heart!

Disgusting but it works, get some cloves (by the herbs in the supermarket) and put it on the offending tooth, tastes yuck, but works. Or take 2 paracetamol and hold a hot water bottle to your mouth!

Hi
Oil of Cloves usually works for me. Get it at any chemist. It works great at night when trying to get off to sleep, but sometimes stains pillowcase (very red)
Hope it's not too bad.

Depends whether it is decay abscess or other. I always use some stuff called Corsodyl. UIt has to be used for acouple of daysbut it does get the pain down. Also try Bon Jela thestuff they use for babies. Ifall else fails ring your GP's out of hours forpain killers.

Ibuprofen and paracetamol are ok to take together, though it is recommended that they are taking alternately - 2 hr intervals.
READ THE DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS.
Also gently swilling cool water round the offending tooth can help.
