This is my first boyfriend and he's not acting very boyfriend like. He didn't get me a Christmas present. He doesn't hug me. He doesn't treat me like his girlfriend. I have asked other people this question, and most said dump him and others say hold on til Valentine's day and see what happens then. What should I do?

My boyfriend now is kinda like that...have you tried talking to him about it? He might just be shy. Or he could have another girl....see what happens with the talking...then go from there..Good Luck!

If you hold on til Valentine's Day you'll be asking us on Feb. 15th about how to stop the pain. Drop him...please! He is a poor example of a first boyfriend. You deserve better.

Boy, I'm very curious what his reason is for acting like a complete tool. In any event, yes, you have to break up with him immediately. Why wait until Valentine's Day? You know you are just going to end up disappointed.

Whether it be Christmas, your Birthday, Valentines day, etc... if you feel like he doesn't 'treat' you like his Girlfriend... then just ditch it. Valentines day is a month away... ask yourself if you really want this 'treatment' to drag on for another month. If it's 'No' then let him go. He does not deserve you. You need someone who treats you well.
