VERY INTERESTING-

1. The Garden of Eden was in Iraq .

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!

3. Noah built the ark in Iraq .

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq

5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq !

6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq !

7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq .

8. Jonah preached in Nineveh -

19. The "Empire of Man" described in
Revelation is called Babylon, which was
a city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one: Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq ! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon , Land of Shinar , and Mesopotamia . The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris
and Euphrates Rivers . The name Iraq , means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel , has more history and prophecy associated
with it than Iraq .

And also, This is something to think about: Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam
should have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah;
and there was peace.
(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!

I just want to add one more thing to that. In the Book of Revelation. The angels that are holding back the four winds, that have waited for this very day, of this very month, and year, who are bound at the great river Euphrates, are in Iraq.
At the beginning of the war, thieves carried off, the oldest artifacts known to man.
What secrets are the four angels "holding back" so that it will not harm humanity? (You will see armies surrounding) Iraq.
What is so important, that it must not get out to the world?
Sadam incured the wrath of a fearsome Eagle, which would be America. They started out with Osama, but diverted to Iraq. He is trying to cleanse the land with Democracy by military war.
The people are trembling in the valley of decision, between the ememy they know, and the enemy they don't know.
Democracy says peace, when there is no peace.

1. The Garden of Eden was in Iran
3. Noah probably built the ark in Iran
5. Abraham was from Syria
6. Rebekah was from Syria (Nahor was Abraham's grandfather - not a city in Iraq)
7. Jacob met Rachel in Syria
17. The wise men were just as likely from Iran
18. Peter was not in Iraq - he referred to Rome as "Babylon"
19. The "Babylon" mentioned in Revelation is the city of Rome (built on seven hills).

I'm having a little trouble finding that 9:11 passage in my copy of the Koran...

Jer.25:12-14
12 "But when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation, the land of the Babylonians, for their guilt," declares the LORD, "and will make it desolate forever.
13 I will bring upon that land all the things I have spoken against it, all that are written in this book and prophesied by Jeremiah against all the nations.
14 They themselves will be enslaved by many nations and great kings; I will repay them according to their deeds and the work of their hands."

Oooh I have a Quran given to me from a friend...never thought to read it but I'll take a look at that passage! Yes, a lot of places in the Middle East are mentioned in the Scriptures...

Ummm it's a hoax lol, I checked on that passage and it actually reads:

But (even so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and practise regular charity -- They are your bretheren in Faith: (Thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for those who understand.

Here's the status of the urban legend: http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/quran911.asp

This is false. 9/11 in the Qur'an reads "But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who have knowledge. " Or something to that affect, depending on the translation.

What's your point?

Obviously it has a proud history, many words in science and mathematics hint at their arabian origins - take algebra for example.
