We've been together for 8 months & he says that he loves me, but he's not inlove with me. He's only been inlove once, with the mother of his child who left him for another guy. They don't communicate at all unless it concerns the baby. He says that he wants to be with me but he can't give me what I want because he doesn't want to do the in LOVE thing and this has been his mind set before the baby mama, what happened with her was unintentional. The continuence of this relationship is entirely up to me. I'm madly inlove with him, but him JUST loving me is not enough, but I can't leave him because I love him so much and he's so good to me for the most part...what do I do?

If he cannot return your feelings of love, you have to end it. If he is not in love with you, chances are he will end up leaving you anyway. Find someone who can give you everything you desire and deserve!

Well hunny give him some space first to see if he is up to that! Because he's probably still heart broken from the girl leaving him for another guy when he thought she loved him! Maybe he wants you as a girlfriend to love and for support! So I would say support him as much as you can and ask him on intervals! Maybe ask once a month or every other month! Just because he doesn't make love to you doesn't mean he doesn't love you!

one thing caught my eye, " and he's so good to me for the most part." That does that mean? If he says he can't love you, will you be satisfied with that? I am guessing no. Maybe it would be better to end it and find someone that can reciprocate the feelings...

Leave him - life too short to settle for second best. Find someone who loves you all the time, makes you laugh and enjoy life!

you have to decide if the love he is giving you is enough. if it is isn't enough, you are just prolonging a break-up. why not go find someone that loves you with all their heart?
